      For whoever cares...
          If my memory serves me right, the last three NCAA Ice hockey Champion-
ship games have been between an ECAC team and either a WCHA or CCHA opponent.
In fact if you go back to 1985 (RPI National Champs) 4 of the last 6 games had
an ECAC team in there. '88 - St. Lawrence lost in a great OT game to LSSU, '89
Harvard became National Champs, and in '90 Colgate lost to Wisconsin.  Notice
all 4 teams are different and that the last three have been under the academic
standard rule.  Granted the lower 6 teams are of questionable competion,
 USUALLY.Y
It still is true however that on any given night any ECAC team can beat any ot
other one.
 
        It is true that Clarkson College is now Clarkson University. Thanks Rico
