The Brown Bears scored three first period goals and then rode a rock
solid defensive effort to blank the Vermont Catamounts, 5-0, at Meehan
Auditorium this evening. Brown junior goaler Yann Danis posted his second
consecutive shutout of an ECAC opponent and Brown posted back-to-back,
season-opening shutouts for the first time since their inaugural 1897-98
campaign. Danis, a second team All-America selection last season, kicked
out a total of 29 Cat shots during tonight's game.
