Notes:
- UNH and BC play each other on Saturday and Sunday.
- Lowell, Northeastern and Providence have completed their league schedule.
- Maine, BU, Merrimack and UMass play 1 more game.
- UMass is eliminated, and the following playoff seeds are set:
#4 seed: Lowell
#7 seed: Providence
#8 seed: Merrimack
- UNH controls their own destiny, with one win this weekend they will win
the Hockey East regular season title and secure the #1 seed.
- In order for Maine to finish second, they must follow Friday's win with
another victory over BU. A tie goes to BU since they hold the second
tiebreaker, league wins (15 vs. 14).
- Unless BC takes 3 of 4 points vs. UNH, they will be the sixth seed. Maine
and BU will be playing hard to avoid a very tough quarterfinal matchup with
the defending national champions, who are playing much better of late.
- Northeastern is the #5 seed with one BC loss, or two BC ties.
