Does this mean that "Around the Rinks" is kaput ?? I suspected this
might happen once you accepted your new job, but I held onto a slim thread
of hope that perhaps you'd found the time/resources to continue. 'Twas a
noble experiment, done well; I hate to see it end so soon ....
But speaking (indirectly :-) of Hockey Songs, I'll soon be posting an
update of the Hockey Songs Summary I post periodically to the List. New
entries for all of you that can't get enough of hockey-themed songs will
be heartened to learn that "The Zambonis" and "The Hanson Brothers" both
have new albums, The Canadian Hockey Hall of Fame has released a sequel to
CONTACT! called (in a burst of creative genius) CONTACT! 2, and the new
album by Alberta folk-rockers "Captain Tractor" has a GREAT hockey song on
it. Details to follow: stay tuned to a computer screen near you ....
Cheers from Maryland - Jim
