David Carroll asked about Ivy hockey prior to 1960. According to this
year's Princeton Hockey Guide, Princeton's first season was 1900-01.
Yale, Brown, Cornell, Penn, and Columbia were on the schedule, along
with City College of New York, Swathmore, and the Lawrenceville School.
The first game against Harvard was not until the 1901-02 season.
I don't know if the Ivy League itself existed back then, I suspect it
did not.
