About those "upset" hopes that Peter Kester and Bill Fenwick stated:

Well, I don't know how Cortland did, but Middlebury defeated Bowdoin 4-3
and Colgate beat Princeton 5-3. In the other ECAC Div. I shootout game,
Yale defeated Brown 2-1. So, the pairings for this weekend's 1/4finals:

#9 (now #8) Yale at #1 Clarkson
#7 Colgate at #2 Cornell
#6 Vermont at #3 St. Lawrence
#5 RPI at #4 Harvard

My (early) Predictions:
Clarkson, Cornell, St. Lawrence, and RPI will make it to Boston. Clarkson
and Cornell are both solid teams at home (Cornell just had an unusually bad
weekend), SLU won't let the same mistakes happen that they did against
Vermont earlier this season, and RPI is the best road team in the league.
If they can surprise Cornell, they can do the same to Harvard. That one might
go to the mini-game, though. The rest should be decided in the first two
games.
