> I was curious how did RIT do at the 85-86 RPI Invitational?

They lost to RPI in the 1st round and beat UAF in the consolation.
I don't remember the exact scores, but I recall that RPI won by 2.
It was tied till late in the 3rd when the Engineers scored the winner
- they got an empty netter in the last minute to close out the game.
It was a great matchup as both teams were coming off national
championships (RPI D-I, RIT D-III). The Tigers went on to beat
Clarkson and Colgate that year - an awesome D-III team.

RIT beat UAF by 3-4 goals in the consolation, something like 10-6.
