I did a little research, and I've found at least 10 Maine streaks that were
broken with their loss to BU Friday night:
 
1  32 game unbeaten (30-0-2)
2  44 game regular season unbeaten (40-0-4)
3  18 game HE unbeaten this season (17-0-1)
4  16 game HE winning this season
5  30 game HE regular season unbeaten (27-0-3)
6  49 game home unbeaten (45-0-4)
7  3 game home winning
8  9 game winning
9  6 game HE home winning
10 28 game HE home unbeaten (25-0-3)
 
Of the above, numbers 3-5 are new HE records.  #10 might be a HE record but
I'm not sure.
 
However, at least the following 6 away streaks are still alive for Maine:
 
1  17 game away unbeaten (17-0-0)
2  17 game away winning
3  17 game away regular season winning
4  23 game away regular season unbeaten (22-0-1)
5  10 game away HE winning
6  16 game away HE unbeaten (15-0-1)
 
I thought a listing of these might serve to show just how impressive Maine's
performance has been.
