First of all, in regards to the Sweeney who played on the
U.S. Olympic Hockey Team last year, it was Tim Sweeney,
formerly of B.C. ('89?) and now of the Providence Bruins (AHL),
not Don Sweeney, formerly of Harvard and now Boston Bruins.
Secondly, I have been trying to notice some of the leading
goalies around the nation, but have an incomplete list.
I know from the CCHA weekly listings that Shields (Mich) has
a 2.10 GAA and a .914 save %. I also have noticed that
Rogles (Clarkson) is 7-2-3 with a 2.23
GAA and a .922 %. I do not, however know anything about the
WCHA, nor do I know the present overall GAA and save %'s of
Hockey East. If anyone knows of the overall stats of any
of the leading goalies, I would like to see them.
Thanks
