I'm not reporting the assists because the AA News box score contains an
error, somewhere.  They list Mark Ouimet as having 4 assists (to go with
his 2 goals), but Ouimet actually was credited with 3 assists in the
game.  The News did have a classic, albeit overexaggerated, quote from
Notre Dame Coach (and Hockey-L'er) Ric Schafer on Michigan:
 
  "God, are they good.  We would have to play our absolute best and
   they'd all have to have the flu and the stars would have to be in
   perfect formation for us to beat them."
 
That explains why Notre Dame doesn't have Maine on its schedule.  :-)
