First, Tom wrote in his message to hockey3 that the goalie was Mike
McKersie. Is he any relation to BU goalie J.P. McKersie, from Madison?

Here are the records I came across.

DivI
Most saves, game:
82 by Don Martin (BU) vs BC, Dec 1924
82 by Tim Ready (BC) vs Princeton, Feb 1936
In the "modern" era (1948 and later), the record appears to be:
78, Dick Greenlaw (RPI) vs BU, 1964-65

DivIII is a little more difficult. The closest thing I could find was the
ECAC East/West/North/South record, which is:
79, Ed Sanborn (UMass) vs UNH, 2/18/67
However, UNH was in DivI, and both Point and EC are in DivIII. BTW, looking
at the ECAC North/South records, we find:
75, John Brayton, Connecticut College vs Iona, 1979

So across all of college hockey, according to the information I have
available to me (which is not all that is out there), the college record is
82 as stated above, with Sanborn of UMass holding the "modern" record at
79. I invite anyone to post if they have further information.
