In their opening game of ECAC play, St. Lawrence defeated Cornell, 3-0 to win their first game of the season (exhibition games don't count).  Cornell was called for quite a few penalties.  In the third period SLU seemed to have the better play and finally broke the scoreless tie with a 5 on 3 power play goal.  Weninger gets his first shutout and Baker and Wick get their first goals.

Tomorrow night Cornell visits Clarkson and Colgate comes to St. Lawrence.
