The ECACHL originally backed a Madison Square Garden NYC bid. At the last
minute NYC did not bid. ECACHL scrambled and supported the Fort Lauderdale
bid at the Office Depot Center in Sunrise Florida. Along with Columbus,
Minneapolis (Target Center), Detroit (Palace @ Auburn Hills) and San
Antonio, it failed to make the first cut.

Truly believe if MSG bid, it and the ECACHL would field a finalist.

As usual, the ECACHL is out to lunch.
