The difference being, and this doesn't justify either the no-call or the
calling of the penalties, was that Schutte's trip took away a potential
scoring opportunity. Hauser, however, in the post-game press conference, was
asked about the calls and he knew that he got away with a tripping penalty.

Also, Metcalf really went off on the officiating and the NCAA in the press
conference. Piotrowski was the official who tossed Shawn Walsh last year
near the end of Maine's 3-1 loss to BC at Worcester.
