>From USCHO comes the following attendence.

West - Friday 6437
        - Saturday 6544 Total: 12,981

East - Friday 6627
        - Saturday 7096 Total: 13,823
(attendence was reported for all 4 games -- I used the larger # each day)

It looks like Yost was full, but the Pepsi was not even 1/2 full. Yes, I
know the weather was nice, but would the games have sounded (and looked)
better at the Houston Field House at RPI? I would rather play before
6500 in a full barn vs 6500 in an cavernous building.

Should the NCAA consider large on-campus buildings for all the regionals?
RPI has the biggest one in the ECAC and I think UNH and BC have large
(6000+) buildings. All three are near large metropolitan areas with
plenty of good transportation.

Starting in 2000, should the East regionals (assuming a 12 team tourny)
be alternated between RPI, UNH and BC? I won't get into what to do for a
16 team tourny.
