Well I cannot speak to the Clarkson game, but I do know that SLU was that
dominant...Koenig was in net and was shelled from start to finish with
*really* good shots by SLU...SLU had had a bit of trouble scoring in past
games mainly due to changes in the lines every night (IMHO)...tonight's
lines simply clicked and the result was scoring from all the lines ... it
was an impressive show indeed...But more to the point, Eric Heffler was the
most impressive at all...Union was certainly not potent, but they did have
many fine shots upon him and he stood up all night, never once breaking
composure...Anyone know when the last ECAC back-to-back shutout was by a
goalie? I know that I cannot recall the last time it happen for an SLU
goalie...It is a nice feeling to have SLU in competition again...fifth
place is very good for this point and hopefully the climb will continue!
