With the W.C.H.A. going to a 27 game league schedule next season, there will
be more opportunities for non-conference games.  I heard one of the Wisconsin
radio announcers, Bill Brophy, mention that Wisconsin and Minnestoa are
looking into playing Boston University and Boston College next season.
 
I do not know if this would be a tournament format, like the College Hockey
Showcase, or just a weekend road trip, but I was hoping someone else might
have some information regarding this possibility.  Has anyone else heard
anything about this?  Is this the beginning of the big boys pairing off and
only playing each other, to benefit their RPI index number and T.V. ratings?
Or just a re-kindling of the old WCHA/Hockey East rivalry?
