Rumor up here in Fairbanks is that Mankato State has declared for Division
I. Anybody have any information?
 
According to comments made by CCHA Commissioner Bill Beagan when he was
here a few weeks ago, this may set into motion a realignment in CCHA/WCHA.
From the standpoint of those of us out west (didja know that Honolulu is
straight south from Fairbanks?), a Western Division might include UAF, UAA,
CC, Denver, North Dakota, maybe Mankato +/- other Minn schools. Makes sense
from the standpoints of travel and regional rivalries.
