I was listening to WMVP AM 1000, a 50,000 watt superstation that
broadcasts from Chicago last night.  Les Grobstein has a show weeknights
from 12 AM - 3 AM Central time, and he is also the play by play man for
Illinois-Chicago hockey and basketball.  He mentioned something about
doing the game this weekend on the Flames network, both Friday and
Saturday nights.  Whether this means that the game will be carried on
WMVP, was not made clear.  Most UIC hockey games and all basketball games
are broadcast on a smaller suburban station, WAUR AM 930.  Occasionally,
WMVP, also the flagship home the the Blackhawks, will also broadcast a
UIC game.  WMVP normally has a range that will carry at least throughout
the Midwest, often throughout most of the country depending on weather
conditions.  I will find out about the broadcast schedule.
 
As far as TV coverage, I haven't heard that either game will be
televised.  A few games a year are carried on SportsChannel Chicago.  I
don't think Seven Bridges Ice Arena would even have the facilities for
such a thing, being that it is so small (around 1500 capacity I
believe.)  UIC plays at Seven Bridges in the 'burbs when the UIC Pavilion
(hockey cap. 8802) is in use for another event.
 
I'll also try and find out about TV coverage for this series.
