According to the Associated Press, Boston College head coach
Steve Cedorchuk resigned today of his own accored. He was 20-40-10
in two years as head coach of the Eagles after a 17 year stint as
an assistant to Len Ceglarski. Cedorchuk's Eagles finished sixth in Hockey
East this year, but managed to win the Beanpot trophy for the first time since
1983 with an overtime upset of Harvard, 2-1.

No immediate successor was announced but AD cHet Gladchuk said a
search would begin for a new coach immediately.
