This week in CCHA history:
 
  January 23-24, 1981 -- Ohio State's Mike Blake wins his third straight
CCHA player-of-the-week honor.  Blake allowed eight goals in earning six
victories, while stopping 196 shots in sweeps of Northern Michigan
(5-1,9-2), Ferris State (3-2 OT,6-1) and Western Michigan (3-2,6-0).

  Michigan's David Oliver recorded his 5th game winning goal of the season
vs Notre Dame on Saturday.
 
  Ohio State sophomore goaltender Tom Askey has started three games at the
Norris Center (LSSU).  Even though he is 0-2-1 (8-0, 3-3 OT, 4-1) with 15
goals against, he has made 130 saves (over 43 per game!) for a percentage of
