Is the Broadmoor World Arena the same as the Broadmoor Ice Palace? If
so, the arena has been host to more DivI championships than any other
rink - 11. The first 10 championships were awarded on that surface,
from 1948-57, as well as the 1969 championship. Michigan, which has
won more NC$$ championships than any other team (7), won 6 of those on
Broadmoor ice. And CC won its only two championships there as well.

I noticed one option not listed was for the college itself to build a
rink - is this not a possibility?

In other Colorado hockey news, I read in the local paper that former
USAFA skater Bob Ingraham (Cal's brother), who graduated this year and
is from Georgetown, MA, will be a graduate assistant with Air Force
this coming season.
