I don't remember Addesa's interviews, and I have watched the game neutrally to
determine the refereeing. Aside from the examples in my previous post, the
inaugural one of this thread, here are some general observations:

1. No team is perfect

2. Often I see the other team skating faster than RPI. When we have the puck,
often the blade of the stick of the opposing player is hooked from behind
around the midriff or stomach of the Engineer. Isn't this blatant hooking.
I rarely see retaliation.

3. I see checking by the other team via elbows and holding much more often than
RPI does. In most circumstances, this would lead to roughing. However, RPI
usually gets up and goes after the puck, without retaliation.

4. I often see the opposing team using variations of 2 or 3 on an RPI player
not in control of the puck, when the refs are off following puck action. Of
the categories I have listed, RPI has committed by far the least amount of
offenses here.

5. Bruce Coles, class of 1991 was the leading penalty getter in team history.
After he graduated, and after the Addesa years, games were less penalty ridden.
However, this inconsistency I talk about is still a problem.

My above observations prove that I have tried to view with fairness to all
and those observations support my conclusions. So what do you think?

Finally, for anyone who saw the Yale-RPI game last Saturday, please tell me
WHY WAS OUR FIRST GOAL DISALLOWED??? Not even the Troy Record or the Poly
sports editor could answer this for me!
