  !!!  Canada took 3-1 lead into third and held on.  France looked good.
  Altitude seemed to affect Canadians, especially Lindros, and they were
  taking oxygen in the final minutes to regain energy.  This was the first
  event of the 92 Games and was actually played before the Games were opened.

Unified Team (CIS/formerly USSR) 8, Switzerland 1
  No surprises here.  8 different scorers for UT; both CZ and UT had ridiculous
  edges in shots.
