I cannot understand why the Hobey Baker selection committee continues to
hurt the promotion of hockey playing institutions and their players by the
current number of announced finalists.
 
The selection committee should be listing 15 finalists and nothing less.
 
Let's promote hockey more and have more fun with our fine student-athletes
by listed no less than 15 as finalists for the Hobey Baker Award.
 
 
 
Or better yet, issue a Hobey Baker award to left and right wingers, left
and right defencemen, centermen, and goaltender.  That would make SIX !!!

I wonder if the proponents of the larger polls sent congratulations to
Clarence Campbell of the NHL when it expanded beyond six teams, or when the
