ECAC Tournament to be broadcast LIVE over the Internet

AC Productions will bring unprecedented global coverage to college hockey fans.

For the first time ever, the ECAC Division I men's ice hockey Tournament can be
heard live across the globe.

Assuming you have the minimum computer setup, you can hear the entire ECAC
Tournament, plus pre-game and post-game commentary, live and in its entirety,
via the Internet.

From the same people that bring you Around the Rinks, the critically acclaimed
30-minute weekly talk show about college hockey, the ECAC tournament will be
covered like never before.

This year marks the 36th ECAC Tournament, including fifth straight in Lake
Placid. The teams will be competing in the same building where the United
States shocked the Soviet Union en route to a gold medal in the 1980 Olympics.
Cornell is the defending champion, and has won the title a record eight times.

Now displaced alumni and fans from around the world can listen in to their
favorite team's game just like they were there, and without incurring
long-distance phone charges.

AC Productions will broadcast a pre-game show before the semifinals, beginning
at 2:30 p.m. EST (see the full schedule below). At that time, or any time
thereafter, head to the special ECAC Tournament web page to listen to the
games. The place to listen is... http://www.audionet.com/schools/ecac/hockey/

The games will also be archived, meaning the recording can be heard 24 hours a
day/7 days a week.

The web site will also be the source of information regarding the tournament.
In conjunction with US College Hockey Online (http://www.uscollegehockey.com),
you can find information about the all the teams in the tournament, plus give
instant feedback, while listening to the games.

The broadcast team includes Adam Wodon and Geoff Howell. Wodon has covered the
ECAC for nine years, has done play-by-play for Princeton the last four seasons,
and is host of Around the Rinks, the weekly 30-minute talk show on college
hockey. Howell was the voice of Princeton for five years, has been the color
voice of Harvard the last two seasons, and writes about Eastern college hockey
for magazines like Hockey Digest.

AudioNet is the leader in Internet broadcasting. Bringing real-time
"radio-like" sound to your computer, on demand.

The Olympic Regional Development Authority hosts the event. In addition to
hockey, ORDA coordinates events such as ski competitions on Whiteface Mountain
and figure skating championships.

To learn more about setting up your computer to hear live "Internet-radio"
broadcasts, see the Web site: "http://www.eskimo.com/~natcon/"

Don't miss the chance to hear the ECAC Tournament covered like never before.
