Let me fill in the Larries discussion that Ralph Baer has continued.
Hopefully it will end. I think I "bring up the rear" on the list in RPI
hockey lore, nicely covering the 4 yrs before Ralph, from 60-64.
At any rate, I recall one heckuva game, I think my senior year, against
the Larries, in which actionwas up and down the ice, ended RPI winning
1-0. It was always the Larries. Never heard the Saints. Never thought
it was derogatory, i.e. related to a local HS up there. I don't think
many of the RPI fans knew that.
