The Penn State Icers destroyed SUNY-Binghampton 19-2 in the season opener
at the PSU Ice Pavilion on Friday.  Senior Rob Keegan had a five point
night (3G, 2A).
 
The first four Icer goals came in the first 3:31 of play.  Battista called
off the dogs, pulling the top scorers and most of the seniors in the second
period, but Binghampton was just outmanned.

Penn State plays at Illinois this weekend.
