One correction:

It is my understanding, from what Jack Parker has said, that scholarships in
Hockey (not in other sports) are for one year and one year only. If, at the
end of one year, the player either gets injured or just stinks, the school can
cancel the scholarship. It is a two-way street since, if the player is good
enough, he leaves early, and if he is bad enough, he is dumped early.
