UMASS DARTMOUTH TO VISIT MIDDLEBURY SATURDAY
NORTH DARTMOUTH, MA–The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth’s hockey team must hit the road for their NCAA Division III quarterfinal playoff game Saturday.
For the second consecutive season, the Corsairs will visit Middlebury in the quarterfinals.
Middlebury, the defending NCAA Division III champion, advanced by defeating visiting SUNY Fredonia, 9-0 , in their first round playoff game Wednesday evening at Chip Kenyon Arena. The Panthers dominated the game, out shooting the Blue Devils, 46-8. The winner of the game will advance to the semi-finals and finals next weekend at Wisconsin-Superior.
