The Detroit Free Press had a story on the Red Wings draft picks and there was
no mention of the Wings signing any of them.  The profile of Jimmy Howard
said Jimmy "will be a sophomore at Maine this fall; the Wings can let him develop
for three years."

Nothing about a contract on the Red Wings website, either.
