As part of a very moving evening honoring Christopher Reeve, a 5-minute
tribute was given to Travis Roy, honoring him for his positive attitude and
work he's done in speaking to others about spinal cord injuries.

Although I've read stories about Travis countless times, spoken with him
briefly, and read his book, the tribute was overwhelming and once again I
was moved to tears. The audience (full of both political and entertainment
celebrities) gave Travis a standing ovation.

The most heartfelt moment for me came when the camera focused on
Christopher Reeve and his wife, who both smiled greatly through a steady
stream of tears. The only people who smiled (and cried) greater were Travis
and his father, clearly overwhelmed by the audience's reaction, as he
smiled through his tears at the grand support he was (and has been) receiving.

This was undoubtedly one of the most moving things I've ever witnessed on
the boob tube.

Since BU dropped football, does that mean Silber fumbled?
Real grass at Nickerson for the *real* football! Yippee!
