According to the StarTribune, MN A.D. Mark Dienhart had appealed to WCHA
commish Bruce McLeod to switch the MN/SCSU game back to the 2:05 pm slot.
There was some concern that the hockey game would conflict with (gasp!) the
Gopher basketball team's NCAA game on Friday night. McLeod kept the game at
7:05 pm. Luckily, the hoops game starts at 9:15 pm. Thank you God (insert
sarcasm here)!
I knew that hockey took a backseat to football & basketball at MN, but the
HoopHysteria around here is out of hand (IMHO).
