All this babble about the Gopher/Sioux rivalry has caused
me to think back to my college days. Back in the early
80's when I was at the U of Mn, one of my friends in the
pep band had gotten a copy of a UND student newspaper
from the week before a Gopher/Sioux hockey series.
The paper had a full page ad that showed a gopher
impaled on a hockey stick with blood dripping on to
the ice! Let the rivalry contine....
