While I think the style of play argument may have some validity, I also believe that if you look at the Post-season results, Lake Superior has had much better results than Michigan.  Whether you want to attribute this to "style of play" or "overachievement", I'm not sure.  However, it will be interesting to see how this statistic predicts post-season performance.
