I think the reason why some (who in all places tend to jump on and off
bandwagons) have gotten on Noble is that when he has made a mistake it
has been of the howler variety, but as you say in the long run he has
proven himself of worth in a position which is traditionally strong at
BU.  Dan Brady he is not, but he is a solid goaltender.
