In response to Tyler's comments about Tom Noble:
        Regardless of Noble's slow start in 1995-96, he still remains one
of the most consistent and underrated goaltenders in college hockey. As a
freshman, Noble led his team to the NCAA title, a feat that most veteran
goaltenders fail to accomplish. Noble's problem stems from his lack of
activity during games, facing an average of 18-20 shots a night. I've
asked Noble about improving while playing in front of such a strong
defensive unit, and he commented that he has to face the potent BU
offense everyday in practice-- not a bad way to learn how you can
improve. The bottom line is that Noble has all the tools to be a great
goalie on the college hockey level, and perhaps the professional level,
but because he doesn't make 40 saves a night, he doesn't receive the
attention or the credit that Martin Legault (Merrimack), Brian Regan
(UMass-Amherst) or even Blair Allison (Maine) receive in Hockey East.
