People can talk all they want about how well western fans (like those at Wiscon
sin) cheer, but the fans at Cornell are incredible (at least when Cornell is at
all decent--not often lately). Their cheers are clever, well-orchestrated, ob
noxious and loud. In other words, they are perfect. I wish the fans at Brown
could do the same, but there never seems to be enough of them there. Although
as those who witnessed this year's Harvard game at lynah can attest, they somti
mes lose their grip, and their "fish penalties" can hurt the team. Still, I do
ubt the Cornell players would want to trade fans with anybody. I could really
like Cornell fans if they didn't drive me nuts--I certainly do respect them.
