   Ummm....I think that would be Jerry Welsh, eh.  The Buckeyes could only
hope to have Maine coach Shawn Walsh there.  Welsh also resigned, technically,
after being told that he would not have his contract renewed at the end of the
year.
   I wish him luck.  I disagree with those who hold him responsible for the sad
state of the Buckeye program.  The administration at OSU doesn't give a
tinker's damn about the hockey program.  All they care about is their football
and basketball programs.  Of course the b-ball team hasn't exactly been stellar
this season.  Welsh had no way of attracting players when most high school
arenas are of higher quality than what the University gives them.  Welsh will
probably get a job at a school that cares about his program and will most
likely do pretty well.
