The ECAC/USAir Player of the Week was Vermont sophomore goaltender Tim
Thomas, who stopped 68 of 70 shots on the weekend, with 29 saves at RPI in
the Cats' 6-1 win and 39 more in a 1-1 tie at Union.
 
The ECAC/USAir Rookie of the Week, as Arthur previously mentioned, was
Cornell's Ryan Smart, who got his first career hat trick against St. Law-
rence and followed that up with a 2-1-3 performance against Clarkson.
