I would have to agree with you (darnit) that UW/UM would probably be a
better TV draw, especially since I'm sure the number of Wisconsin alumni
around the country outnumber the UMD alumni, but I do think that it is
one of the great hockey rivalries, and maybe that's the U's reasoning.
Plus, it really only needs one school's permission, being that UMD is
just part of the complete University of Minnesota system.
