There was a brief unplanned service outage in the Portland Datacenter that
caused a number of servers housed there to become inaccessible for a few
minutes starting approximately 20 minutes ago. The affected servers
provided phone registration services as well as DNS/DHCP services. All of
these services have redundant backups in Orono that remained online, so it
is likely that no issues were noticed. However, in the event an issue
relating to these services was noted at that time, this outage was the
likely explanation. All affected services were quickly restored, and no
further issues are expected.
