Working with the "You Are The Committee" script
<http://uscho.com/rankings/yatc.php>, if all the favorites (higher
seeds) win today, Colgate would end up #13 in the PWR (16 comparisons
won) without the "quality wins" bonus. However, one of their
comparison wins is over Cornell, and is decided by a .5186 to .5182
RPI advantage. But Cornell has two "quality wins" on neutral ice,
against OSU and Notre Dame in the Everblades College Classic. If the
bonus for neutral-ice "quality wins" is at least .0002, that
comparison will flip to Cornell, dropping Colgate into a three-way tie
with Notre Dame and OSU. The comparisons among the three schools are
split, and Colgate has the lowest RPI of the three. So it looks like
in this scenario Colgate will miss the NCAAs because of the "quality
wins" bonus.
