Tom Rowe is right: Hockey East is not a "dominant" league. But over the
course of the season, Hockey East teams are more likely to win inter-league
match-ups than teams from any other conference. When Hockey East was formed
15 or so years ago, the western teams were assumed to be bigger and tougher
and more likely to win. At least as far as Hockey East is concerned, that is
no longer the case.
