ESPN has a policy which I think shows integrity and attention to their
mission as a sports network. FSN apparently does not. Remember this
the next time someone complains about ESPN's Phrozen Phour coverage.

It largely depends upon what the actual contract between FSNE and the
Celtics says. Sometimes, local broadcasters have to sign a contract
guaranteeing live coverage of all included games to get a hot local team.
For a variety of reasons, ESPN has enough clout to avoid this, but the
Celtics may have been able to be pickier. Though, ESPN has recently been
caught up in a contract dispute with Major League Baseball about preempting
a Sunday Night Baseball game.
I haven't seen the contract in question, of course, so FSNE may simply have
been a bunch of pinheads, but that isn't necessarily the case.
