Those wild and crazy Pandas did it again. Alberta slipped by Laurier 3-2
on Saturday to moved into the Championship match of the Canadian
Nationals. Laurier was big and strong, but the westerners were quick and
knew their best defense was a great attack. Alberta is the surprise and
delight of the tournament.
In the nightcap, Concordia smoked the X-Women 10-0. The Stingers scored
at will and had a easy warmup match for the final.
Today will find the 5th place match between McGill and Xavier, the 3rd
place contest, or Ontario derby match, between Laurier and host Toronto,
and the Championship, live on TSN/RDS at 8:00 pm between Alberta and
Concordia. That was the potential to be excellent, as both teams love to
attack.
And I'm trying to squeeze in a 4th match today at Scarborough! TAFN.
