Quinnipiac has sunk to 15th in the Ratings Percentage Index Calculation
They rank 5th in winning percentage, but they are playing a weak schedule
ranking next to last. Only Iona has a worse opponents winning percentage.
They are also in the bottom 6 in terms of opponents strength of schedule.

They do better in the Pairwise, ranking 7th of 26, but those numbers seem
to be misleading...
they have a total of 6 wins (out of 8) against teams with a record
of .500 or better, 2 each against connecticut, holy cross, and iona
actually, They are 6 and 2 against the 18th 24th and 26th teams
under consideration and that's a .750 record. It is exceeded only
        my maine and North Dakota.

they win the record against common opponents when compared to
niagara, uconn, holy cross, and iona. They lose against colorado
college, denver, and anchorage (i believe the only common opponent
is air force) and they tie against princeton, providence, rpi,
        lowell, and colgate.

they have only played 3 teams under consideration and have common
opponents with just a dozen teams under consideration. As such,
about half their comparisons involve only RPI, winning percent in
their last 16 games, and record against teams under consideration.
We already know they have a very weak strength of schedule (next
to last in opponents winning percentage) and we also know they
have a misleadingly high record against teams under consideration.

i've included my calculations (as of this morning) below.

The total is calculated by the Rating Percentage Index method,
used as a tool by the NCAA in selecting teams for national
collegiate tournaments in several sports. Ratings are derived
by summing each team's winning percentage, the average winning
percentage of its opponents, and the average winning percentage
of its opponents' opponents, multiplied by the given weights.
Factors such as importance of game, margin of victory, or home
ice are not included in the calculations.

Teams can earn points for each of the following criteria:
  1. Head to head Competition (one point per game)
  2. Record against common opponents
  3. Record against teams under consideration
  4. Record in last 16 games
  5. Ratings percentage index

The record in the last 16 games, the record against teams
under consideration, the ratings percentage index, and
the number of pairwise comparisons won are listed above.

(for individual comparisons, subtract head to head record
from the overall 'being considered' record given above.)

The Ratings percentage index is used as a tiebreaker.
Summaries of head to head competition results, record
against common opponents, and overall pairwise
comparisons are given in 3 tables below.
