Hockey East teams have compiled the best non-conference record of
any of the four major college hockey leagues this season. Hockey
East teams are 17-10-1 against non-conference competition.
 
The only one of the four leagues with a losing non-league record
is the WCHA (8-9). The CCHA is 12-9-2 against teams from other
leagues, and the ECAC is 14-14.
