Defenseman Ben Tharp, third-leading scorer last season for Minnesota
Class AA consolation hockey champion Hastings, has joined forwards Dan
Welch and Jeff Taffe, the Raiders' top two scorers, in orally committing
to the University of Minnesota. All three will be seniors in the fall.
Tharp scored eight goals and 32 assists last season.
