I don't think Lacouture leaving is a big surprise - the big surprise would
have been if he had stayed.
 
This is a huge loss for BU. He was, without a doubt, the best freshman on the
BU team and one of the better freshman in Hockey East. The asset that he had
that can't easily be replaced is his size and toughness. He occupied opposing
players in front of the net so other players could skate freely.
 
BU has had alot of bad luck with their top recruits recently with Lacouture,
Scott King and Travis Roy not playing for the team for one reason or another.
 
 
Is the rest of the team going to be coming back or are they jumping to the
pros as well?

      BU's Dan Lacouture was traded to the Edmonton Oilers on Monday......he
      was then signed to a multi year deal.
 
      So, I guess that ends that speculation of whether he's going back to
      school or not.....
